- How to bid
- Register online with GovEase (registration opened August 3rd for the 2026 sale) and take its free online training. All deposits are made through GovEase; no deposits are taken at county offices, and credit card transactions carry a convenience fee. Bidders can enter maximum bids ahead of time; the sale usually lasts five to seven days. Taxes not paid by the last Friday before the sale are auctioned. If the owner redeems within two years, the purchaser is repaid the lien amount plus 1.5% per month interest (not on the overbid); end-of-sale processing goes through the Chancery Clerk.
