- Based on the Town's rules for the October 15, 2025 sale: the sale is a public auction conducted by the Tax Collector at Bloomfield Town Hall. Bidders registered in person the morning of the sale with photo ID and brought a $5,000 bank cashier's or certified check per property, payable to the town's attorney as trustee; the balance was due within about a week. Rules for the next sale are not posted yet.
