How to bid: Based on the City's notice for the May 6, 2025 sale: a public auction run by the Tax Collector in the City Hall auditorium, 140 Main Street. Registration opened at 12:45 PM. Each property needed a $4,000 deposit ($1,000 if under $4,000 was owed) by bank or certified check payable to the Tax Collector, no cash; the balance was due within six days. Minimum bid was the taxes, interest and fees owed. Terms for the next sale are not posted yet.
