- Monition Tax Sales take place January, April, July and October and are held on the last Tuesday of that month at 10:00 a.m.
- How to bid
- Bid in person at the Kent County Levy Court in Dover. Register before 9:45 a.m. on sale day. The winning bidder pays a deposit for each property at the time of bidding and the balance to the Sheriff's Office by 2:00 p.m. the same day. The owner has 60 days from court confirmation to redeem; if the owner redeems, the bidder gets the price paid back plus 15%.
