How to bid: Minimum bid auctions are held online through Tax-Sale.info. Create a free account and provide a $1,000 pre-authorization hold on a major credit card, which serves as a deposit and is collected only if a winner fails to pay. Bids can be placed starting 30 days before the auction date and changed until the start time; once open, bids can be raised but not deleted. Auctions open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. on the scheduled date, and winners are emailed payment and paperwork details.
