The 2026 sale notice says the County Auditor conducts the sale by online auction through Public Surplus, selling to the highest bidder under Minnesota Statutes chapter 282. Properties are sold as-is and all sales are final. Deposit, payment terms and registration not stated; full terms are in the county's Terms and Conditions document or from the Property Tax office. The county offers a Forfeited Land Sale Notification Form for the next sale.
