How to bid: Complete the county bid form, place it in a sealed envelope marked 'SEALED BID – TAX DEED' and deliver it to the County Clerk at the Government Center, 1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson, by any posted deadline. Each bid needs a 10% deposit by cashier's check or money order payable to St. Croix County (no personal checks); deposits are returned to unsuccessful bidders. Bids are opened by the Tax Deed Committee at a public hearing. Full payment, plus a $30 recording fee, is due within 30 days of the award.
