How to bid: Auctions are held online at sacramento.mytaxsale.com (Grant Street). A $5,000 deposit is required to register; it is applied to the price if you win, refunded in about five business days if you don't, and forfeited if you win and don't pay. The winning bidder pays in full within five business days, plus documentary transfer tax. Registration deadline not stated.
