How to bid: Annual in-person auction in the Hamilton County Commission Room, 4th floor of the Hamilton County Courthouse, 625 Georgia Ave., Chattanooga; registration opened at 9:00 a.m. and the sale at 10:00 a.m. in the latest notice. The opening bid must equal the amount owed and the Clerk & Master may refuse any bid. Pay immediately after the sale in cash, cashier's check or money order. A bid is a legal commitment to buy. Property is sold subject to a one-year redemption period from the Order Confirming Sale, with 12% simple interest per annum.
