How to bid: Tax sales are held in person at the Sumner County Courthouse, 155 E Main Street, Gallatin, in Courtroom 3B. All bidders must register the day of the sale. The opening bid equals the taxes owed; bidders are strongly urged to research properties first, and the county and court make no warranties about them. Personal checks are not accepted. Property owners have a one-year redemption period after the Order Confirming Sale is signed by the Chancellor. Time of sale not stated on the page.
