How to bid: Register on GovEase before the county's deadline and bid online. Bidders bid down the interest rate they will accept, starting at 12% per annum in 1% increments, with ties broken by random number generator. Bids must be paid no later than 1 hour before close of business 2 days after the auction, by cash, credit card or immediately available certified funds (no personal checks). Redemption is made to the tax collecting official for the amount on the tax lien certificate plus a $10 redemption fee.
