- How to bid
- The sale runs on the Public Surplus online auction site. Bidding starts at the total of taxes, interest, penalties and administrative costs owed on the parcel. Listings are posted on the county website six weeks ahead and in the Box Elder News Journal four weeks before the sale. Bidders under 18, bidders who owe taxes to the county, or who break the sale rules may be disqualified and their bids voided. Registration steps, deposit and payment method are not stated on the county page.
