How to bid: Online only, through Public Surplus; register there. For the 2026 sale a refundable credit card deposit was charged at your first bid on each property ($50 for properties with a tax value of $10,000 or less, $100 above that); the deposit is not applied to the price. Winning bidders received emailed instructions and paid in full by wire transfer through Public Surplus within 5 business days; tax deeds are recorded and mailed in about 4 to 6 weeks. Property can be redeemed until the sale starts. The county advises calling the office to confirm wire details before sending money.
