- The "Public Tax Sale" is held the first Monday of March each year and begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.
- How to bid
- Pre-register with the Treasurer before the sale ($25.00 non-refundable registration fee per entity; in 2026 the deadline was on or before February 23, 2026). Buyers must be present on sale day; check-in is at 8:30 a.m. The sale is a round robin under State Statute 77-1807: each buyer gets a random order number, emailed the Friday before the sale. Buyers pay by check for certificates bought (taxes, delinquent interest and a $20.00 sale fee per lien). Deposit: not stated.
