- Sealed written bids only, with no verbal bidding; bids are hand delivered to the Treasurer's office (10 S. Main St., Eureka) by the posted deadline, with payment for the total bid included. Payment is by money order, cashier's check or credit card (2.5% convenience fee). Properties sell to the highest sealed bid, and quitclaim deeds are recorded and sent within 30 days of the sale. Unsold properties may be offered at future tax delinquent sales. Registration and deposit are not stated.
