How to bid: Based on the county's page for the last live auction: bidders register in advance at the Treasurer's Office in Tonopah or Pahrump with a $500 deposit in certified funds (cashier's check, money order or cash) and the Bidder Information form; there is no same-day registration and the bidder must be present. Bidders must be at least 18. The deposit applies to the purchase price for winners and is mailed back to others within seven business days. Payment in full, including the Real Property Transfer Tax, is due within a few days of the auction; there is no financing. Properties are sold as-is and all sales are final; the parcel list is published in the Pahrump Valley Times and Tonopah Times-Bonanza four weeks before the auction.
