- Only registered bidders may bid: complete the registration form at the Treasurer's Office the morning of the auction, or contact the office up to a week before the sale. The 2026 sale was held in the Commission Meeting Room of the Humboldt County Courthouse, 50 West Fifth Street, Winnemucca. The minimum bid includes unpaid taxes, penalties, interest and costs and may include sewer, special improvement district and nuisance abatement charges. Property is sold as is; the Treasurer issues and records the deed within 30 days. Deposit and payment terms are not stated.
