How to bid: Per the 2026 Terms of Sale: an online public auction at carroll.marylandtaxsale.com. All bidders must pre-register as set out in the Tax Sale Notice; late registrations are not accepted. Payment is by ACH debit, due by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the sale. Bids are capped at four times the assessed value. Interest: 14% a year for non-owner-occupied property, 10% for owner-occupied. The registration fee and deposit, if any, are not stated in the terms.
