How to bid: The June resale is an open, active auction at the Treasurer's office (Mayes County Courthouse, 1 Court Place, Ste 100, Pryor) where property is sold to the highest bidder. You or your representative must be present; to get a bidder number you give your name, address and telephone number on the sign-in sheet. The minimum bid is the delinquent amount due or two-thirds of assessed value, whichever is less. All payments must be cash (no checks or credit cards); buyers also pay a $10 deed fee and about $20 for recording. The owner may redeem any time before the deed is executed. No deposit or registration deadline stated.
