Sale details

Sale type: deed
Format: In person
Schedule: Beginning the second Monday in June and continuing from day to day thereafter until all real estate is sold.
How to bid: Pre-registration is encouraged at the Treasurer's office beginning approximately May 15th; once the sale begins, registration is only accepted at the auction location. A pre-deposit of $500.00 or more is recommended. Cash, cashier's check or money order is accepted, and buyers without a pre-deposit pay immediately after each purchase. The minimum bid is the lesser of 2/3 of the current tax year assessed value or the advertised taxes, interest, fees and costs. Properties not sold go to the county and may later be sold by auction with Board of County Commissioners approval.
