Schedule: The tax resale is held each year on the second Monday of June
How to bid: The Treasurer's tax resale sells real estate on which the county has held a tax lien for two full years; property is auctioned to the highest bidder for cash or certified funds, with bidding starting at all delinquent taxes, penalties, fees and costs. Bidders must place a deposit with the Treasurer's office to cover the cost of advertising the sale, and the winner pays any further advertising costs and County Clerk recording fees before closing. Property can no longer be redeemed once the June Resale starts. Unsold property is deeded to the county and may later be sold on a bid approved by the Board of County Commissioners. Registration terms not stated.
