How to bid: Based on the Treasurer's 2026 bidder packet: bid online through GovEase; registration opens about two weeks before the sale, and anyone bidding for a company must register as a bidder for that company. The deposit is 10% of the amount you want to be approved to bid. Winners pay the online vendor by 4:30 pm CST the following day; the Treasurer's office does not accept funds in person for this. A 5% bidder's premium and a $10 deed fee are added. Successful bidders receive a Treasurer's Resale Deed issued within a week of the June Resale.
