Tax Sales are scheduled on the first Tuesday of any given month on the courthouse steps at 12 noon.
How to bid
Bidding starts at the total of taxes and costs and the property goes to the highest bidder; if there are no bidders, the County may bid the starting amount. Notice of the sale is published once a week for the four weeks before the sale in the county's legal organ. The owner or anyone with an interest may redeem within 12 months of the sale, and the buyer has no immediate control of the property or right to rents during that time. Payment terms are in the county's Tax Sale Conditions document (not read); registration not stated on the pages read.
