How to bid
Pre-register with the county's Bidder Registration Form (for 2026 the forms were due Friday, October 2); registration is not offered on sale day, and there is a $10.00 registration fee per bidder. Pick up a paddle in Room 107 of the Delinquent Tax Office from 8:30 AM; the sale begins at 10:00 AM on the first floor of the parking garage at the County Complex. Bids are in person only (no mail bids), by the bidder or an authorized agent. The winning bid must be paid in full the day of the sale in cash, postal money order, cashier's check or certified check (no personal checks); a defaulting bidder can be fined $500 and barred from future sales. Owners have one year and a day to redeem, and the buyer receives a tax deed.
