Format: In person
How to bid: You must pre-register to bid; there is no registration fee (for 2026, pre-registration ran September 18 through October 9). It is an open bid sale: bidders use numbered bidder cards. Terms of sale are certified funds, business checks or cash, with no personal checks; all bids must be paid in full on the day of the sale or there is a $500 fine per bid. The owner may redeem within twelve months from the day of the sale. The property list is posted on the Tax Collection Department webpage and advertised in The Herald.
