How to bid
In person. Pre-register at the Tax Claim Bureau during the posted registration window with the $25.00 cash registration fee, a Bidder Registry Form, a copy of a valid photo ID and an Affidavit of Bidder (plus an Affidavit of Non-Bidding Potential Owner if applicable). Businesses also provide IRS Form SS-4 and a list of members, officers and others with ownership. No notary on site. For the judicial sale the county also charges a $250.00 Demolition & Rehabilitation Fund premium per parcel sold. Rescinding a bid or disrupting the sale brings a permanent ban from county tax sales.
