These sales are held on the first Tuesday of the month beginning at 10:00 a.m. and by law can be conducted between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom on the 1st floor of the Brazoria County Courthouse.
How to bid
Get a Statement of No Delinquent Tax from the Brazoria County Tax Office: mail the notarized request with a $10.00 money order or cashier’s check no less than 10 days before the sale (not processed on sale day). Pay immediately after the sale in cash, money order or cashier’s check made payable to Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, exact amount only; personal or company checks only with a bank Letter of Guaranty. Buyers receive a Sheriff’s Deed without warranty. Tax resale (tax trust) properties are listed on request by email to the Tax Office.
