- The November 3, 2026 list says the tracts are sold at a Sheriff's Sale through an online public auction, with bids starting at the opening bid shown for each tract. Successful bidders are expected to pay their bid by money order; the CAD page says personal checks may delay the deed filing. The CAD page also says the Commissioners designated the sale location outside the main entrance of the Caldwell County Judicial Center, 1703 S. Colorado Street, Lockhart. Questions go to Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP (or Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins & Mott, LLP for Luling ISD properties). Registration and deposit are not stated.
