How to bid
In person only: you or your agent must be present. Register with the Treasurer's Office on sale day with a W-9 (SSN, or EIN for companies). Each buyer gets a number; raise it to bid and call out your premium. Premiums go in $1 steps on taxes under $1,000 and $5 steps above that, and are not refunded on redemption. The county page states the 2026 rate of return as fourteen percent (other Colorado counties list 13% for 2026, so confirm).
