How to bid
Online only at zeusauction.com, where bidders register. The minimum bid covers taxes, interest, advertising and certificate costs, and the minimum excess bid is $1.00; anything above the minimum is a premium bid, which is not refunded at redemption. A buyer gets only the tax lien certificate, with no rights to the property. County employees, officials, their immediate family and their agents may not bid. If later taxes go unpaid by July 31, the holder can endorse them onto the certificate, and they must be endorsed to apply for a treasurer's deed.
