How to bid: Register to participate on the Iowa Tax Auction website, where an updated parcel listing (refreshed nightly) is available to registered bidders. Qualifying unpaid parcels are published once in the county's official publication during the last week of May. The winning bidder pays the outstanding taxes only; 2% interest per month accrues for up to three years, and the investor may pay later delinquent taxes, which are added to the redemption amount.
