How to bid: Bidders pre-register online through iowatreasurers.org and pay a non-refundable $35.00 fee per bidder number. The sale is held in person in the Scott County Board Room. Bidders bid down the percentage of interest in the property they will accept; ties at 100% go to random selection. Full payment is due at the end of the sale (2026 rules).
