- This is not a bidding auction: registered third-party purchasers take turns picking certificates of delinquency in an order set by a random drawing. In 2026 the clerk took registration July 21 to July 28, collected all registration and filing fees at registration in certified funds, and drew for the order of placement online on July 31. The 2026 sale location was the Burlington Office, Real Estate Department, 2950 Washington Square. Whether the sale itself is in person or online is not stated.
