How to bid: Third-party purchasers register with the clerk by the posted deadline (August 17, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. CST for the 2026 sale) by mailing or bringing in original signed forms (no email or fax) with an alphabetical list of the certificates they want. Fees: $5 per priority certificate and $10 per current certificate, up to $250, nonrefundable. Deposit: the full amount due on priority certificates plus a $30 recording fee each, plus 25% of the amount due on current certificates, by separate check from the fee. Payment must be cash, cashier's check or certified funds. Most purchasers must also register with the state. How the purchase order is set is not stated.
