How to bid: Mortgage foreclosure sales are online through RealAuction; delinquent tax sales are held in person at 1:00 PM at the Brown County Municipal Court, 770 Mt Orab Pike, Georgetown. The page says all properties sold for delinquent land tax must have the complete tax amount paid at the time of sale. RealAuction deposits are by ACH or wire under RealAuction's policies (for example $2,000 when the appraisal is $10,000.00 or less, $10,000 when over $200,000.00); the Sheriff's Office itself cannot take wires.
