Delinquent tax sales are held in person at the Wood County Courthouse, One Courthouse Square, Bowling Green, at 10:00 AM on the listed date. For a tax sale the deposit is 10% of the starting bid, but no less than $1,000.00, paid to the Sheriff's Deputy by personal or certified check once the day's sales are completed; the remainder is due in 30 to 90 days. A buyer who cannot complete the purchase may be cited for contempt of court. Bank foreclosures are sold separately online through RealAuction. Registration rules for tax sales are not stated.
