How to bid: Tax foreclosures (Treasurer as plaintiff) are sold in person in the lobby of the Logan County Sheriff's Office, 284 County Road 32 S, Bellefontaine. You or a representative must attend and bid in person; prior or sealed bids are not accepted and there is no prior registration. Starting bids are the full amount of the judgment. The buyer pays 10% of the final price at the sale (cash, certified check or bank money order payable to the Logan County Sheriff) with a completed Purchaser Information Form and a property tax payment history affidavit; if the deposit is not paid the property is resold on the spot. Current-year taxes follow the property. Bank foreclosures are sold separately online through RealAuction.
