How to bid

Bidders register on the Sheriff's RealAuction site, get a bidder number and post a $1,000.00 deposit for each delinquent tax sale case before the sale. The highest bidder wins, and the balance is due within thirty days after the Confirmation Order is filed. Tax-foreclosure buyers must file an affidavit under ORC 5721.19(J); the page also says a person who owns property in Ohio cannot buy through a tax foreclosure sale.
