How to bid
Bid online on the county's RealAuction sheriff sale site after registering with RealAuction and completing the Purchaser Information Form. Properties open for bid at least seven days before the sale, and auctions run one property at a time from 10:30 am Eastern on scheduled Thursdays. Deposits are $2,000 (appraised value $10,000 or less), $5,000 ($10,000.01 to $200,000) or $10,000 (over $200,000); wired deposits must arrive by 5:00 pm two business days before the auction and ACH deposits must be started by 4:00 pm five business days before. The balance is due within 30 days after confirmation of sale by certified bank check or title company check payable to the Licking County Sheriff's Office.
