How to bid
All sheriff sales have been online through RealAuction since April 2022. A deposit is paid to RealAuction at least 48 business hours before the sale: $2,000 for appraised value of $10,000 or less, $5,000 for over $10,000 and under $200,000, $10,000 over $200,000. A Purchaser Information Sheet must accompany each bid. Tax foreclosures filed by the County Treasurer have a minimum bid set by court order (other sales start at two-thirds of appraised value), and liens other than the taxes foreclosed may survive the sale. The balance is due by certified bank check within 30 days after the Sheriff contacts the buyer following confirmation. No entry to the property without a court order.
