- Probate and tax sales are held in person in the Justice Center lobby and start at 10:00 A.M.; photo identification is required. All bids begin at 2/3 of the appraised value (no minimum on the second sale date). A deposit is due at the time of sale (amount not stated), and the final payment must be a cashier's or certified check, paid at the Sheriff's Office after the confirmation is filed and signed. Remote bids are limited to judgment creditors and lienholders. Foreclosure (non-tax) sales are online only.
