How to bid
County tax (Treasurer's) sales are held in person, until further notice, at the Darke County Commissioners building, 520 S Broadway, Greenville. The successful bidder must deposit 15% of the purchase price on the day of the sale. Sales are advertised in the Early Bird newspaper for at least three consecutive weeks; the office does not mail property lists. Mortgage foreclosures are sold separately online through RealAuction on Fridays. Registration rules for tax sales are not stated.
