How to bid: Before bidding, post an advance deposit of $200 or 5% of the bid, whichever is greater. Hand-delivered deposits must be made before 3 pm on the last business day before the sale; ACH payments at least 4 days in advance. Winning bids must be paid within 24 hours of the sale (cash, cashier's check, wire, or auction-site collected funds); personal checks are not accepted. Properties are sold as is. Questions go to the Tax Deed Coordinator (taxdeeds@alachuaclerk.org).
