How to bid: Register at the online auction site to get a username and password. The winning bidder posts a non-refundable deposit of 5 percent of the final bid or $200.00, whichever is greater; the balance must arrive by wire, cashier's check or money order no later than 12:00 PM ET the next business day after the sale. Tax certificates are sold separately by the Tax Collector in an online sale through its vendor, LienHub.
